Welcome to Jewellery Studies

Welcome to the Society's illustrated journal, Jewellery Studies, which is published on an occasional basis and contains full length articles, book reviews, and other information. The articles cover all aspects of jewellery from Antiquity to the present day. The contributions include related material from archives, technical data, gemmology and any new discoveries on collections and designers.

As a jewellery collector or researcher you may have unpublished material on a current topic of jewellery history that you are involved in and would wish to be made known to those sharing this interest. We welcome your contribution. Click here for technical requirements. Fees are not paid, however contributors receive 25 off-prints plus a copy of the volume and an author’s discount on all additional copies ordered at the same time.

Jewellery Studies is sent free to all members on publication. New members receive a price list of available back volumes and order form. Click here for contents of back volumes. Back volumes are also available to non-members and libraries here.

The next volume of Jewellery Studies (vol. 12) is due to be published in 2011.
