Jewellery Studies Jewellery Studies, the journal of the Society of Jewellery Historians, is distributed to all members of the society, and is available for purchase by non-members (apply to address below, or click here ). Authors will receive 25 off-prints of their paper and a copy of the complete volume. The readers of Jewellery Studies come from a wide range of disciplines with an interest in the history of jewellery and gemstones, and your paper should be readable by all.
Copy, including a list of figure captions, should be typed on one side only of good quality A4 paper and a word processor disc supplied, preferably in PC-compatible format. Please ask the editors for further information.

The editors will advise contributors of the deadline for submission of text and illustrations. All articles are refereed. The edited text, with any editorial queries, will be returned to the author for approval and clarification where necessary. Any final changes must be made to the text at this stage. Printer’s proofs will be sent to contributors for checking. Proof correction should be kept to an absolute minimum; author’s corrections will only be included at the editors’ discretion. Some illustrations may have to be cut for reasons of space or quality, at the discretion of the editors, but in consultation with the author. The editors’ decision is final.
