The Bishopsland Retrospective Silver and Jewellery exhibition 2010 - Special view for members of SJH

An exhibition displaying and selling current trends in contemporary silver and jewellery will take place at Bishopsland, Dunsden, S. Oxon from Friday 6 August to Sunday 8 August, 2.30-5.30 each day. Outstanding work by over thirty recent graduates and Fellows of Bishopsland who come from both UK and overseas will be on show, celebrating 17 years since the foundation of Bishopsland, and providing an opportunity for collectors.
Visit Bishopsland, for more details of Bishopsland Educational Trust.
Bishopsland has kindly invited members of SJH to a special day on Saturday 7 August for a light lunch and demonstrations in the workshops, and a chance to look at the exhibition. A minibus will be at Reading Station at 12.00 to collect guests arriving by train from Paddington. Demonstrations by this year’s group are planned to include chasing, chain-making and piercing during the afternoon. The minibus will be on hand to return to the rail station, but guests are welcome to stay on for the Presentation ceremony that evening at 6pm.
There is no charge, but numbers are limited, so members wishing to come should apply, by 30 July, here.
